Find out MoreThis is the best PT clinic around, hands down. Abby and Brian are by far the most outstanding physical therapists - they appreciate the complexity of an athlete and understand the importance of optimizing a runner's health through strength, stability, and injury prevention. I have participated in the 3D gait analysis, dry needling, redcord, core classes, and they have all made significant impact on my overall well-being as a runner. I highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their performace, rehab an injury, and reach optimum potential in their sport!Anna H. - Raleigh, NC Run Raleigh Physical Therapy
I could rave about the facilities, the technology or any number of things that make Run Raleigh PT a 5-star clinic. But what makes Run Raleigh PT simply the best is the people. The team is the most knowledgeable and experienced group of PTs & runners who have been through everything you are going through and know EXACTLY how to make you a better version of whatever you strive to be. From NFL running back to weekend warrior (like me) I can't recommend Run Raleigh any more.Ted J. - Raleigh, NC Run Raleigh Physical Therapy
"I’m a weekend warrior beach volleyball player, HIIT participant, and have a job that requires long hours of standing. As a consequence I’ve suffered from decades of chronic plantar fasciitis. All traditional therapies including many sets of custom orthotics, countless cortisone injections, and a round of PRP have provided short-lived and/or minimal benefit. While rehabbing from patellar tendon debridement after the last cortisone shot to my right heel I commented to my PT that I had had it and wanted a referral for surgery. His reply was “before you do that you need to see Abby”. Abby undertook the most thorough diagnostic assessment I’ve ever had, stated: “give me 6 months”, and set a treatment plan. She did it! I am orthotic and night splint free. I’ve had dramatic improvement in pain reduction, foot strength, and balance. Perhaps most importantly when pain does flare from overdoing it she has educated and equipped me to manage it on my own." Thanks Abby!"Steve C. - Raleigh, NC Run Raleigh Physical Therapy
I am so amazed at how Abby has grown this PT practice and her knowledge of running a small business, from hiring new physical therapists to locating and upfitting a new downtown Raleigh location. I am active and unfortunately injuries come with being active. Lately, I have had the pleasure of working with Jen and she's first rate from her personality to her treatment of my tissue needs all within the space of a quick 30 minutes in and out. I've also gone for a longer appointment when I needed more time. I highly recommend Run Raleigh PT and cannot think of a more caring, devoted staff to someone's PT needs.Diane C. - Raleigh, NC Run Raleigh Physical Therapy
Coming to RunRaleigh and working with Jennifer has been a worthwhile investment. Troubled by chronic IT Band Syndrome, I've gotten back to running pre-injury weekly distances and have learned a lot about injury prevention and treatment. The combination of manual therapy, strengthening exercises and dry needling has benefited me greatly.Brennan - Raleigh, NC Run Raleigh Physical Therapy
Last year, after a major knee surgery (ACL repair and tibial osteotomy) to fix a botched surgery from 10 years ago, I found myself struggling through a variety of related issues as my body aligned itself to a new way of moving. I am an active person and ran some shorter triathlons pre surgery but wasn't sure if Run Raleigh was the right place for me since I don't really consider myself a runner. After multiple references, I finally made an appointment and started working with the therapists there and within a month, my body felt like it was back under control. I went from what felt like a completely helpless situation to small victories, guided by the staff at Run Raleigh. I learned how to walk properly and then run, which was my goal after being told I'd never be physically able to run again. The staff at Run Raleigh have worked tirelessly with me to not only help me be functional again but actually to get me back into performance mode. I trust them to always listen to what I'm saying and think critically about how to develop a strategy that is approachable. They even let me film myself doing exercises and talked me through it so I could remember the movement at home, which was unbelievably helpful. My favorite thing about Run Raleigh is that they were simply there to help facilitate my own recovery. They gave me the knowledge, tools, and confidence to move again and to continue to push myself, which can be very scary after a traumatic injury. I will be a lifelong client, checking back in from time to time to make sure everything is in line. I feel like Run Raleigh does a great job of targeting the root problem and addressing related complaints along the way. The staff at Run Raleigh are truly magical!Kate C. - Raleigh, NC Run Raleigh Physical Therapy
As an equestrian it is very important for me to be fit and balanced on the back of the horse and because of Jennifer Hood with Run Raleigh PT I have corrected patterns that help me do my job better and my horses feel great because of it. Whether it's strength and balance training on the Red Cord system, to manual therapy with dry needling when my shoulder just doesn't feel right; I know that when I go in I will feel better right away! PT has been one of the best additions to my health program and I can't recommend it enough!Barrett - Raleigh, NC Run Raleigh Physical Therapy
Brian was recommended to me by my personal trainer to help me recover from ankle surgery and to relieve the pain from a chronic hip problem. I have been delighted with his treatment. His ability to listen and to apply different techniques (e.g., dry needling, graston) has helped resolve some long-standing issues for me. I highly recommend him!Jane B. - Raleigh NC Run Raleigh Physical Therapy
